stacking weapons?

hello, i was curious as to if you stack more weapons does it provide more damage? and same for armor and equip? thanks!

Tactics, like if you want to lower your reputation in order to be able to get in any store with a maximum rep. You will have your strengh left and then you can kick ass as much as you want. That was just an example.

so then is there a gain to owning 2 or more different items, say the Frat gun, the Sniper rifle and the Rolling Block , also in Armor and equip...does it give a cumulative gain? Or do we only get the benefit of whatever we have selected at the time?
