You need to go to the alliance screen witch is in the top right corner above your global and local rank.
Click Alliance Type Alliance name, description and country and click create Then you have the Alliance screen where your alliance is shown and a area marked "members". There you can invite friends.
Remember you need at least 2 members for first alliance hit and 4 for the second. Be carefull who you invite because they might backstab you
